Cindy Cannon is a founding Partner with her husband Roy Cannon of Growth Management Group. GMG is a consulting practice specializing in professional recruiting, career assessment and training. They share their experience's and knowledge by helping to strengthen businesses and motivate the companies employees. They both are known as experts in their field. Cindy has created and developed a series of programs called, “The Insider Secrets to Interviewing.” Recognizing each organization has a unique mission, GMG delivers a very unique program specifically tailored to each company and individual.
Cindy Cannon is a Recruiter, Entrepreneur, Interview Coach, published author, radio guest and motivational speaker. As an expert recruiter with 25 years experience Cindy shares the insider secrets of interviewing. She is recognized as one of the top recruiters in the nation where she worked for one of the largest publically held firms in the world. Cindy has been directly involved in the placement of over 2,000 hires and personally interviewed well over 5,000 candidates for positions ranging from entry level all the way through executive management. Cindy was recognized and awarded as the number 3 recruiter in the nation for the decade at Management Recruiters where she worked for 17 years.
Cindy is also an Inspirational Speaker and published author sharing her incredible story of how she lived through and conquered 15 surgeries, a very real near death experience, an extremely painful rare chronic disease and still achieved an awarded elite status as a nationally recognized top recruiter.
Today, Cindy is a graduate of the Bill Gove Speaking school and a sought after speaker in the non-profit, public and private sectors. Roy is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, GA.
Cindy is a Region Advisor of Marketing for Region 8 - Toastmasters International. She is responsible for marketing of new members and new clubs within the 7 districts + the Caribbean and Bahama. Cindy is also a past District 14 Governor for the State of GA where she led over 4,800 members and 270 clubs to being #4 in the world and #1 in North America in which the District earned the President Distinguished award. She has reached the highest achievement that Toastmasters International offers, Distinguished Toastmaster.
