Quality Manager Position open - ATLANTA, GA - $80,000 to $90,000 DOE + bonus
Quality Manager/ Atlanta/ $85,000- $90,000 DOE Quality Manager for a manufacturing company responsible for championing all continuous improvement efforts within the corporate quality system including establishing short and long term quality goals. This includes developing comprehensive quality procedures and validation protocols for all products, developing a data collection and quality metric system, as well as routine reporting of quality trends that includes RMAs and corrective action reports. The Quality Manager will supervise the Quality Engineer as well as oversee quality operations worldwide. This position will also be responsible for managing disposition of shipment inspections as well as testing manufactured products based on engineering, consumer, and regulatory test standards (ISO, TS, ASTM, SAE, ASME,IEEE, UL, CSA, ISO, IRCA, etc).
Future opportunities will include promotion to Director of Quality or Operations Manager.
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Industrial, Industrial Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, MS in Quality Assurance/Management preferred
· Minimum 5 - 10 year’s direct professional experience with manufacturing the same or similar products, material components, and processes is strongly preferred. This includes exposure to at least one of the following disciplines: plastic injection or extrusion molding, rubber injection molding, metal casting, metal fabrication / forming / assembly, metal welding/plating/coating, metal stamping, metal precision machining, PCB/electronic assembly, electronic hardware, shaded-pole motors, brushless AC motors, PSC motors, fractional HP motors, variable speed motors, regulators, stators, coils, solenoids, microprocessors, capacitors, transformers, PCBs, and other electronic systems and processes, or high speed manufacturing.
· 3 – 5 years previous management experience with quality staff preferred
· Supervise the development of all quality system documents to support product design, development, and manufacturing
· Assist in research, develop and evaluate materials and surface treatments for their relevant physical properties, use with manufacturing processes, and product applications.
· Candidate should be proficient with handheld measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, Ohm meters, etc.

FACILITY SERVICE MANAGER POSITION - HOUSTON, TX
Job Description
Primary Responsibility:
Maintain safe, effective and functional facilities by directing installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems for an ammonia-refrigerated warehouse in Houston, Texas.
- Identify current and future maintenance requirements by establishing rapport with management, engineering, and production personnel and technicians to understand maintenance requirements at the warehouse.
- Ensure production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Support product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans; discussing equipment needs and modifications with design engineers; coordinating activities of technicians and workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment.
- Direct maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs and personnel policies and procedures including Equal Opportunity Employment and Affirmative Action.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and PSM requirements.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical and all other municipal and state codes.
- Resolve maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality control personnel.

- Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges. Test and calibrate HVAC equipment.
- Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use tools and equipment carefully as instructed.
- Maintain batteries and chargers in working order in accordance with OSHA Standard.
- Conduct test of safety equipment (Exit signs, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, etc.) to ensure OHSA and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
- Answer security alarm calls as needed.
- Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications/Additional Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years material handling, repair, and building maintenance experience required; prior experience running ammonia- refrigerated warehouse is required
- Completion of four (4) RETA courses and other related maintenance and safety certifications

- Strong communication skills and supervisory experience
- Ability to work with hands and tools in mechanically oriented situations

- Performing regular walk through inspections on facilities and departments.
- Setting good examples in areas of work habits, follow-up, communication, people skills, management skills, and attitude.
- Participating in, monitoring, and assuring compliance with facility PSM reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
- Checking on work performed.
- Continually striving to improve the personnel, departments, and facilities in all ways.
- Pitching in and helping the Maintenance staff during peak times or when departments are short-handed is a necessary role to perform.
- If planned correctly, the performance of these tasks should serve to accomplish training, competency evaluation of maintenance personnel, and setting a good example.

- Solid computer skills in warehousing and refrigeration applications, and in Windows environment (Project, Word, Excel).
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to write reports and interpret a wide variety of technical and financial data.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
